Irene WINS BIG!!

Hey all I just wanted to shoot you a quick note to say that last night both me and my mom watched as my sister Irene's soccer team the "Chivas" won 1st place this season. I know this is no shocker for those of you who know how long she has played (about 15yrs), however it was cool how it happened.
They were feeling a little embarrassed to be in a 3-way tie for 4th place (4th puts you in the play-offs) so the 4th place teams played the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in the playoffs. Irene's team played the 1st place team as to which Irene said "we're gonna lose anyways," however she was proved wrong when she did an AWESOME assist to win the game.
They then played their final game to fight for 1st or 2nd place, they team was just happy to get either (1st or 2nd) and were having a BLAST! Well, to make a long story short (too late), they won 2-0. Irene got a NICE trophy and I took a picture of her and her friend Alison (a woman from church that Irene recruited to the team this season).
Irene was So happy and excited she played an AWESOME GAME, and of course her big sis was there to scream for her and embarrass her for the billionth time (she was OK with is since she was doing so GREAT)!
